EISTEDDFOD 2018!!
Thursday, March 1st we are holding a school Eisteddfod to celebrate our Welsh heritage. Can the children come to school in Welsh costume, rugby jerseys, t-shirts etc.
We will also be holding a Welsh home-school project – children are invited to make a piece of art work that symbolises Wales – this could be in the form of a drawing, painting, 3D model, design a new Welsh flag, a poem or song. There will be a certificate for all those taking part. We look forward to seeing your wonderful creations.
In addition we will also be having a ‘tallest real daffodil’ and ‘heaviest real leek’ competition in each class and a ‘Siarad Cymraeg yr Dydd’ for the best Welsh speaker on St David’s Day. For lunch there will be Welsh Cakes for dessert.
