A welcome from our Headteacher
On behalf of myself, the Governing Body, staff and pupils of Abbey Primary School, I would like to welcome you to our school website.
Our motto is “Work together, play together, grow together” which emphasises the ethos of the school in ensuring that all our pupils’ needs are met in a fun, inclusive and engaging way.
The purpose of this website is to provide an interesting insight into our school, to convey important information, and to celebrate the learning journey our pupils and staff embark on here at Abbey.
Choosing the right school for your child is vitally important. We all want the very best education for our children, but we also want our children to be safe, happy and to feel secure. This is of paramount importance to us all here at Abbey.
We pride ourselves on our inclusive nature, high standards and expectations, as well as the holistic approach we have to education, developing the whole child and ensuring important life skills are learned.
We place great emphasis on developing a strong partnership between home and school, as it is through working together in a culture of mutual respect and support, that we can provide what is best for our children, in order to ensure they reach their full potential.
We have very talented, dedicated and caring staff members, who ensure that our pupils get value for money and wide-ranging learning experiences within the school.
I am incredibly proud to be the Head Teacher of this excellent, innovative and forward-thinking school. Our school is a state-of-the-art new build, which was officially opened on 5th May 2023. We love our new school, and you will too.
